What do you think of these unusual baby names?

I am not pregnant but just in case I am in a couple of years or so, I just want to ask you what you think of these unusual baby names I thought of. They are all ‘ordinary names’ spelled backwards.

Cire (Eric spelled backwards, one of my favorites)
Leinad (Daniel spelled backwards, one of my favorites)
Nevets (Steven spelled backwards)
Tenaj (Janet spelled backwards)
Divad (David spelled backward)
Lorac (Carol spelled backwards)
Etak (Kate spelled backwards)

They’re funny… that’s not good. You don’t want to give your kid a name that other people think is funny. There are plenty of unusual names spelled the right way.

i’m not a fan of any of them. they remind me of names of aliens or something. i would much rather choose a name that is uncommon but not something else spelt backwards… but that’s just me

I don’t like any of them spelled backwards.

How about giving your kid a name spelled forwards?

I like Cire and Leinad best. I would make Cire a girls name and pronounce it "see-ray", put an accent on the e.

    I like:
    Daniel Leinad
    Leinad Daniel
    Cire Dianna
    Dianna Cire

Lorac sounds like something from a Dr. Seuss book.

I think it’s great that you are so creative with names, I’m terrible at thinking of names (thus why I just posted a question asking for help with one) however to be honest, I think that those names are for the most part, impossible to know how to pronounce. People might be guessing the child’s whole life as to how to say his or her name correctly. Of course it’s your right to name your baby whatever you want, and if you fall in love with one of those names, by all means, use it.

    i like cire the best

but yeah i don’t like most of them, i like the idea of unique names but don’t give your child a name so different he gets made fun of for it

  15. they’re creative, there’s no doubt about that. however, don’t you think that a child could get teased with a name like "Etak" or "Lorac"?
i agree with whoever said that Cire would work if you pronounce it "see-ray." Otherwise, i just don’t see any of them working out…

Hate them all to be perfectly honest. Especially Etak. They are just awful. If u ever have a child, please do not use on of these names.
