Unusual baby names for future??
We’re trying to concieve at the moment and Im thinking of baby names. I do not like names that 5+ other kids you know are named. Also, although names may remind you of someone famous (paris = hilton etc) or a product/brand (Mexi = iv been told its like Maxi pads), a baby name eventually is known for the sound of the name/word itself. So if you dont like unusual names, stop now and go back! So these are my names what do you think of each and why?

Oh, Citrus! That is a stunning name. Would be amazing as a first name. Youve taken my breath away with that name!
River is nice and Kingston is nice too. I like Earth as boys name at the moment though.
And dont listen to anyone else critising names being too unusual. My name is HUGELY unusual, well in England anyway and everyone always compliments me, other people are just jealous that you have thought of better names than them. They are all gorgeous names.
i like best:
g- miele sayla new (unique, pretty, feminine, easy spelling, pretty spelling, i just all arounf love it!)
b- chase kingston new (masculine, great flow)

i think Preston River would sound better. I like the boys names. Pixie Citrus sounds like a porn star, no offense.

Pixie is gorgeous :] Im not sure about Citrus being paired with this name, purely as it sounds a bit harsh, but the ‘us’ ending compliments "ee" in Pixie well. How about Pixie-Cirrus? or Pixie-Cerius?
Mieli Sayla is beautiful too :] I would love to see that name on my class list next year, but I doubt it! A good choice in my opinion. I also like Mieli Saris or Mieli Sasha.
Mexie isn’t my favourite from your list, but there’s something sweet about it. I would be more inclined to keep this as a middle name. Elexie-Saysha appeals to me, as does Elexi-Maris.
River Preston sounds too ‘Geographical’ too me, but I appreciate the originality. River is a great choice, has a bold and masculine feel. River might sound better reversed such as Preston-River or even Cody River!
Chase is gorgeous :] Chase Kingston is my favourite from your selection, go for it! Its very sweet and modern too.
Chance I like more than Cody. I would choose Cody Ryder or Cody Shey?

I like Sayla but I really don’t like any of the other girls names. As for the boys names didn’t you say you wanted somthing different? I know several people named Cody, Chase, Preston, and Chance. Also River is cool but I’ve heard it before.

The only one i liked out of all your choices was Mieli Sayla, that name is very cute as well as unusual. I have reasons for not liking the others.
Pixie Citrus sounds like a drink to me. that and i just don’t like it.

I know exaclt what you mean about common names. Im so glad my parents didnt name me Nicole or Sarah.
Now to your question:
Pixie Citrus, I think it sounds like a fairy from a kids program
Mieli Sayla, Mieli doesnt tickle me but I like Sayla, it sounds lovely
Mexie Sasha, I love Mexie, it sounds like a strong yet pretty name
River Preston, This one is my fav so far. River is a beautiful name and Preston is also just as lovely
Chase Kingston, Chase doesnt tickle me either, but Kingston sure does. Very manly
Cody Chance, it sounds… common, Cody does at least

Mieli is okay but not sure the spelling will define it for people to pronounce..Mexie sounds like a nickname for Mexican,Pixie Citrus is just weird but passable for a future name..=)
