Modern/Unique Muslim (Arabic) names for baby boy?

So we just found out we’re having a boy yesterday! We’re so excited. We actually had more girl names lined up than boy names so pls help. So far we like the following Arabic names:

Mikail/Mikhail: One of God’s Angels
Ayaan: God’s gift
Sulaiman: Prophet’s name

Can you think of anymore unique/modern arabic names for a baby boy? Thanks!

  2. Oh, congratulations on your baby! That is so very exciting! A really helpful site for Arabic boy’s names is http://www.Islamcan.com/names/index.shtml
That site may give you more ideas than I can give you.
I like name based on their meanings combined with how they sound and how easy they would be for non Islamic people to pronounce them. It is also very difficult to find somthing that is both modern and unique, since modern names are often those names which are frequentl used. That said, my favorite Islamic boy names are:

    Allam (very knowledgeable)
    Basil (brave)
    Harith (cultivator)
    Laith (lion)
    Nazir (bright)
Rayhan (some say it means “ease and comfort” while others say it means “favored by God”)
Nasim (fresh air) *If you are looking for something fresh, what is fresher than this?
    Samir (companion, entertainer)
    Wasi (broad-minded)
    Zaki (intellegent)

My all time favorite is Zaki!

    Sharon :)
