Is this a Biblical Baby Name?

Someone told me that William and Liam were Biblical names..are they..just wondering

No

WILLIAM

Gender: Masculine

Usage: English

Pronounced: WIL-ee-?m, WIL-y?m [key]
From the Germanic name Wilhelm, which was composed of the elements wil "will, desire" and helm "helmet, protection". Saint William of Gellone was an 8th-century cousin of Charlemagne who became a monk. The name was common among the Normans, and it became extremely popular in England after William the Conqueror was recognized as the first Norman king of England. It was later borne by three other English kings, as well as rulers of Scotland, Sicily (of Norman origin), the Netherlands and Prussia.

…and Liam is a take off of William

No, I’ve read the Bible, and neither William nor Liam is in there.

William was the name of an 8th century saint, so it does have connections to Christianity. Of course, it’s also been used by numerous rulers, authors, and other historical figures.

Liam is simply an Irish form of William.

If you’re looking for a similar-sounding biblical name, you might consider Levi or Eli.
