Baby names…?
Ok, this might sound wierd but does anyone else have a sort of obsession/big interest in baby names. Like the meanings or just the sounds. do you love to talk about them all the time?

Im so glad im not alone, ive been getting so much crap off of people for bein so obsessed. I think they think im wierd.
When i play on the Sims game… to me the game is choosing the names!!! When i create my family it will take me days… and when someone is pregnant and has a baby.. it takes me ages to think of one!!! I always have to make sure its right! lol
I totally do. I’m a writer, and I spend half the time I set aside for writing, thinking of names for my characters! So don’t worry, you’re not alone, lol 
I do. The majority of my time online is spent here, on Y! Answers, Baby Names.
I have a list of over 100 names, and that’s only the girl names.

I do, and I’m not even close to having kids yet! I like classic/ol-fashioned names, and I think most people like stupid names. Actually, I’m a pretty big name snob, when it comes down to it. But yeah, I’m interested in origins, sounds, trends, and everything. I like to make combos and lists. I think it’s an interesting hobby.

When I was trying to chose my daughters name, that is all I did, day and night….but I’ve always loved looking at baby names and writing down ones I liked and all that..lol My mom always thought it was funny that I was so obsessed…I love names….

Yes, I am obsessed. I just love all the names out there for kids. With 3 of my own, I know the stress involved in finding the right name. I like to think that i help other people by answering, but I feel that some people on here are overly judgemental, even some are plain mean. I feel like if I don’t have anything positive to answer with, then I move on to the next question.

I don’t talk about them all the time but I do believe names are very important and like knowing the meanings of different names and how people got their names!!
I believe naming your baby is a big decision and not to be taken lightly!!
When celebs give birth, the only thing I want to know about is the name!!!
Sometimes I just fall in love with a certain name while I really hate others!
